Attend three meetings to learn more about the CAP program, observe squadron training, and meet members. This is a requirement before you can officially join.

****VERY IMPORTANT - Do not refresh your screen or submit your application more than once. This will result in duplicate payments, and you will get a "Duplicate Social Security Number Error". 

If your child attends any school in Onondaga County, they receive free lunch. Therefore, when choosing a financial need for First Uniform Select:

Cadets will receive a voucher to help purchase uniforms. The amount of the voucher is based on the selection below. The voucher will be emailed after the first promotion.

There will be an initial membership fee of $42.00 and then due annually

Step 3

When you join online, your form of payment is charged immediately.  However, the membership is in a pending status until the squadron commander.

Step 4

Once your application is processed and approved by the squadron commander, you will receive a welcome email confirming your membership.

By following these steps, you can successfully join the Civil Air Patrol and become part of a community dedicated to service, education, and leadership development.
